Background
I started in the hospitality industry working as a Rooms Operation Manager after graduating from Penn State in 2009. After spending several years in the operations side of hospitality management, I received an offer to begin my career in Human Resources at a hotel located in the heart of Washington D.C. From there, I expanded into the IT arena where I grew my knowledge of benefits and I plan to continue to focus on benefits as I steam ahead in my career.

Foo Dog, The Roosevelt, Buzz and Ned’s, Mezeh

Activities, Interests
Spending time with my family (I have a 6 month old little girl), working out, exploring Richmond, going to wineries and attempting to be a foodie.

What got you into the benefits field?
I love working with people and enriching their lives with valuable benefits. I also really like working with numbers so I was drawn to benefits once I got into Human Resources.​

How has the CEBS designation helped you?
It has given me a solid understanding of the entire umbrella of employee benefits and has given me credibility in the field.
